Forever changed by temporary pain

"Forever changed by momentary pain"

God's Light of truth shines brightest in our darkest moments. We learn that He is close to the brokenhearted when our heart's are broken (Psalm 34:18). We learn that He will keep us in perfect peace when we are surrounded with chaos (Isaiah 26:3). We learn that He provided us victory over temptation when we are confronted with it (1 Corinthians 10:13). We learn that He will not forsake us or abandon us when friends and family leave us (Hebrews 13:5-6). We learn to praise not after the victory but in the midst of war, because it is here we are learning to trust God (2 Chronicles 20:17-25). We learn to pray when we are pressed upon by the weight of life and all we can lift is a prayer (1 Peter 5:7). God's Character and Care sometimes has to be shown to us through life's struggles (2 Corinthians 12:8-10). We must view life's struggles as an opportunity to grow in Christ as opposed to a crushing blow of defeat (James 1:2-4). His Spirit is using what the enemy meant to destroy you to build you into He has called you to be ( Romans 8:28). And He is taking away the roadblocks we put place in life that prevent us from being more like Him (John 15:2). So take heart the pain has purpose, and the eternal changes He is making inside of you will outlast your temporary afflictions (2 Corinthians 4:16-18). Stay focused you can do this.

"In His JOY!"
