Waiting With JOY!

We are sealed with a promise by God, His precious Spirit lives within us and reminds us that Earth is not our home so we JOYfully wait for eternity with Him.

"From coals to diamonds"

We count it all JOY! when we face the trials of life, not because God will give us the victory over our circumstances or defeat our enemies (this is not our focus). We count it all JOY! because God is making us more like Him. He is changing us from the inside out. Our temporary suffering is not pointless but on the contrary it has an eternal purpose, so love those who may "seem" (in your present circumstances) as the source of your pain, they are just sandpaper God is using to make you smooth. Praying and believing with all of you who are facing difficult times, it takes pressure to turn coal (our hearts) into diamonds (an undivided heart towards God). Stay focused you can do this!

The Real Stuff

2 Peter 3:9

There is hope for this world ad-mist all the grief that surrounds it (Proverbs 10:28). There is a real JOY that cannot be derailed by emotions (John 16:22). There is a peace that surpasses intellect (Philippians 4:6-7). And there is a strength that never grows weak (Romans 16:25)

But all these are only for those who dare accept Jesus. Although we mourn and grieve, we are assured that our mourning will end and our comfort will begin (Psalm 126:5). If tragedy strikes our hearts ache but our JOY remains (Nehemiah 8:10). We have Christ Peace within us despite the chaos around us (John 14:27). And we know the Lord will always renew our strength when we are emotionally drained (Psalm 27:14).

So I plead with you to accept Jesus. Understand that you have done wrong and admit it. Know that He died for your wrongs but believe that death could not contain Him. Allow him to be the Lord of your life by following Him. Take a chance and experience something that is true, pure, and good.

My Delight

Psalm 40:8, Matthew 6:21

If my delight is not to do the Lord's Will it is because my heart is not filled with His Living and Active Word (Hebrews 4:12, Isaiah 55:11). And it is up to me to spend time reading The Bible to transform my thinking (Romans 12:2) so I can delight in His Will. This will take time and personal effort, but it is more than worth the sacrifice. Stay focused, you can do this.

Rejoice

Philippians 4:4

Don't look for a reason, don't search for why, even if you don't feel like it....Just REJOICE, and watch how you mood changes. Today was a gift from Jesus so take full advantage of it and REJOICE! Awake from your slumber of grief, anguish, and sadness and REJOICE! Change your mood, change your attitude, change your way of thinking about the situation and REJOICE! Stay focused, you can do this.

Joy!

Luke 2:10-11

A joy for all people! That is what Jesus is and always will be, a Joy! A joy to the drunk, a joy to porn addict, and a joy to the sinner in any form of sin. He is a joy because He brings deliverance, freedom, truth, love, and salvation. This alone invokes praise for us to say, "Glory to God in the Highest!"  Stay focused, you can do this!
